Types of Darts Backboard
If you’ve ever played darts, you’ll understand how important a darts backboard is to the game. Unlike the typical foam-covered backboard, these dartsboards are made of durable EVA V-Foam that absorbs the impact of your darts. Compared to a regular foam-covered board, a dartboard with this material is made of one inch of EVA V-Foam that provides optimal support and stability to the game.
The most common type of darts backboard is made of wood, which is a natural material that does not absorb the impact of a dart. But there are some types of wood that are not as easy to clean as wood. A wood-backed dartboard is usually much sturdier. You can use a cable reel to back your dartboard if the wall of your room is made of the same material as your dartboard.
Alternatively, you can use a cable reel to support the dart board. Cable reels are drum-shaped containers that carry electric wires. They are made of plastic or steel, depending on the quality. However, if you’re building a home or a business with wood walls, this type of darts backboard is not a good choice because of its heavy weight. Cork is also a good solution.
If you want to create your own backboard, you can purchase a dart board with LEDs. If you’re not into LEDs, you can also use a wood backboard. A wooden dart board can also be used if you’d like. Just be sure that the wood is finished well. If you can’t afford to buy an expensive dartboard, you can use an old rope. If you’re really cheap, you can make one yourself. But be sure to choose a thick rope so that it doesn’t damage the wall or the dartboard.
