Darts cricket scoring is different from other forms of scoring. In cricket, the objective is to score more points than your opponent’s team. In this variation, your aim is to make sure that all of your darts hit numbers in the range of fifteen to twenty. In most cases, it will take at least three darts to completely close out a number. If you are unable to do this, your opponent will receive points for every missed dart, but it can be extremely difficult for them to get a high enough score.
If you’re a novice, you’ll be surprised at how much you’ll learn just by watching the pros play. First of all, you’ll learn how to play next to unopened marks. This will greatly benefit your strategy in the long run. You’ll be able to close on the numbers that your opponent will have problems with, while also ensuring that the other player doesn’t get to win the game.
If you’re behind a few rounds, wait until your opponent has closed out his or her numbers. By doing this, you’ll get to score more points over the next few rounds. You should also learn how to divide your efforts between a few opponents, as you can’t expect one person to close out every number. For example, if you’re behind, try to close out a 20 first, so you’ll be able to get to your next target sooner.
